Fulfillment/Sense of purpose
Singing - Age UK
It’s no secret that singing is great for both body and mind. Singing in a choir is uplifting and releases a flurry of endorphins, the body’s natural ‘feel-good’ hormone and the joint sense of purpose created by coming together in harmony as a group can give you a real emotional lift.
Based in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Cirencester. For more information visit Age UK's choir webpage.
Volunteering - Volunteering Gloucestershire
Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes, and the community, but the benefits can be even greater for you as helping others can reduce stress, ease depression, boost mental processes and provide a sense of purpose.
